2-SPEED DUAL WIND MOTORS

2-speed dual wind motors are most commonly used in applications where the speed ratio between high speed and low speed is anything other than 2:1. For continuous duty, 2-speed dual wind motors are usually offered in open drip proof or totally enclosed fan cooled enclosures with NEMA B electrical design. The customer has the option of choosing between constant torque, variable torque, or constant horsepower designs. Intermittent duty 2-speed dual wind motors are generally totally enclosed non-ventilated enclosures designed for 15, 30, 60, or 120-minute duty and have NEMA D electrical design.
