8-13% SLIP MOTORS

8-13% slip motors are electrically designed for a much higher slip providing greater starting torque for an extended period of time. These motors are mostly used in crane and hoist, and moveable bridge applications, and are usually available in non-ventilated, open drip proof and fan cooled enclosures with 15, 30, or 60-min duty ratings.
