General Attributes:

Lakeshore Model 480 fluxmeter very good price

The Model 480 fluxmeter is a high-performance instrument designed for use in industrial and measurement system environments. It measures total magnetic flux, which can then be used to calculate flux density (B) and magnetic field strength (H). This device is ideal for a variety of applications, including magnetizing processes, manual and automated magnet testing and sorting, and serving as the core component in BH loop or hysteresis measurement systems. The Model 480 is also compatible with most sensing coils and fixtures, making it a versatile tool for magnetic measurement tasks.

  • 5¾ digit DC resolution (1 part out of ±300,000)
  • Automatic drift compensation
  • Very fast peak capture
  • AC frequency response to 50 kHz
  • IEEE-488 and serial interfaces
  • Storage of parameters for up to 10 existing coils
